For two decades of search, electronic trade has been managed. At Google, Amazon or at -Sence, it was simple: the shopper enters a question, compares the results and make a purchase. Marketing for search engines, organic and paid, increased performance.
This model is evolving.
General “AI agents” can now help shoppers compare products, prices and possibilities, often in a single conversational step. Shoppers start interactions; The agents then search the receiving pages and answer the request, past preferences and purchase history.
What is agent shopping?
The “agency” concerns autonomous systems that can act and decide independently. Agent shopping US Agents – Chatgpt, Gemini, Confusion, Claude – to keep shopping routes for users. Why does it matter

Audit of product data
Universal standards for AI product sources do not exist (yet) do not exist (you are probably in good condition if you have already held a product source, for example for Google shopping. Make sure it contains all key attributes: size, color, material, weight and use of boxes.
Follow the visibility of AI
Try how your products appear on Genai platforms. Brands and manufacturers can invite their name to find out how they emerge. Even better try the challenge that shoppers can use. See how AI ranks or refers to your products compared to competitors. For example: “Find me the best backpack that fits two days of clothes and fits under the aircraft seat” or “indicate the highest rated wireless exercise from Dewalt below $ 200.”

Extensive use of AI shopping is far from certain.
Adoption varies. Younger shoppers are more comfortable and older shoppers less so.
The accuracy is unvenue. AI can show obsolete prices, stocks and product details, as many of them scare product data, which is susceptible to errors, instead of using product sources. In Chatgpt, unrelated to the question, sometimes attracts compared to the carousels.
AI shopping could become agents an important income channel, but are not a replacement for direct relationships with customers, traditional search or advertising. Create data about AI products – prepare and diversify your sales mix.
Invest in several channels, customer obligations and brand building that can prosper how buyers discover products.
